Product Description
Titanium Ingot | Titanium Ingot |
Unique Titanium has its own vacuum melting furnace, which can melt low oxygen /nitrogen and low inclusions titanium ingots. Generally, the titanium and titanium alloy ingots are melted twice at least in VAR furnace. During the second-time remelting, oxygen content of ingot can be controlled at 0.05% (Max.) and nitrogen content at 0.010% (Max.) for the application of 3D printing manufacturing. For medical /aerospace application, we melt ingots three times to ensure a better uniformity in chemistry. Melting process is fully automatic controlled and the melting record is permanently kept and traceable. For each titanium ingot, we make ultrasonic testing as per AMS2631 Class B (flat-bottom hole: 3.2mm) to conform the defects location, then to cut the top and bottom exactly. We entrust authoritative national testing center to make the chemical analysis for every ingot.
